The Ministry of Employment and Labor (Minister Kim Young-hoon) and the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled (Chairman Lee Jong-sung) successfully held the “2nd Disability Employment Consulting Achievement Sharing Conference” at Peace & Park Convention on the 5th. This event, attended by representatives from public institutions and large corporations, was organized to share the achievements of the employment consulting support program for persons with disabilities and disseminate best practices from outstanding companies.
The day’s program included: ▲Presentation of the ‘2025 True Company (Trusted Employer for Persons with Disabilities)’ Awards ▲Presentation of the ‘2nd Employment Consulting for Persons with Disabilities Achievement Sharing Conference Outstanding Company’ Awards ▲Presentation of Outstanding Achievement Cases ▲A Talk Concert, among other diverse programs.
It was a particularly meaningful occasion for sharing and exploring ways to expand employment for people with disabilities, adding significance to the event.
Hanwha Life Financial Services Co., Ltd. was selected as this year’s True Company. The top award for outstanding companies in disability employment consulting went to Yonsei University Foundation and Dongjin Semichem Co., Ltd., while the excellence award was presented to Kyobo Book Centre Co., Ltd. and Korea Electric Power Corporation.
At the event, three companies—Hanwha Life Financial Services Co., Ltd., Yonsei University Foundation, and Dongjin Semichem Co., Ltd.—presented their efforts and achievements in expanding employment for people with disabilities. This included sharing their experiences in disability employment consulting and know-how for improving disability-friendly employment environments, drawing significant interest from attendees.
The subsequent talk concert, ‘Disability Employment Failure.zip: Decompressing with Consulting,’ featured HR managers from outstanding disability employment companies like CJ Olive Networks and ESG experts. They shared factors leading to disability employment failures and collaborated on solutions.
