Assistive technology fair on the 10th and 11th of next month… 40 companies participating.
[Sejong=NewsPim] Reporter Yang Ga-hee = The Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled announced on the 26th that it will hold the 20th Korea Assistive Technology Fair at the 1st Exhibition Hall of the aT Center in Seoul for two days starting June 10.
The fair is the largest domestic event showcasing the latest trends in technologies and products necessary for the vocational lives of people with disabilities.
40 companies will participate in the fair, introducing over 200 assistive technology devices and new technologies.
The Employment Agency highlighted notable products including the wearable smart glasses ‘InVision Glass’ that connects with ChatGPT, the autonomous transport device ‘Donkibot’ that recognizes people and autonomously carries items, and the ‘Staria Driving Vehicle’ that is modified for driving while in an electric wheelchair.
The event will also offer experiences such as viewing artwork by individuals with developmental disabilities, hands-on learning with educational tools, wheelchair racing, esports experience using assistive devices, one-on-one consulting for obtaining driver’s licenses for disabled individuals, and personalized assistive technology consultations.
