Selection of public service design support project… Redesigning vocational experience courses considering people with disabilities

The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced on the 11th that Korea Job World, the largest comprehensive vocational experience center in the country, has been selected for the ‘Public Service Design Support Project’ organized by the Ministry of Interior and Safety, and will embark on significant service improvements to enhance the accessibility of experiences for children and adolescents with disabilities.

This project aims to achieve public service innovation that can be genuinely felt by the citizens, who are the policy demanders, by enabling them to directly participate in policy design. Korea Job World was selected on the theme of ‘Improving vocational experience accessibility for children and adolescents with disabilities.’

Korea Job World plans to recruit a National Design Team in April to directly identify the inconveniences faced by children and adolescents with disabilities and prepare tailored service improvement plans to address these issues. In particular, plans will be devised to induce practical changes, such as providing experience guidance information by type of disability, improving the physical and informational accessibility of experience facilities, and supplementing the delivery methods of vocational experience content. The announcement for recruiting the National Design Team can be found on the Korea Job World website.
