The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry selected and announced 13 excellent cases of utilizing national qualifications.
(Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Jang Hana = Despite having an intellectual disability, I succeeded in obtaining a word processor and computer application certificate after 10 attempts and secured a regular job at a disability center.
Jeong In-seon, who was selected as the best case in the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s ‘Excellent Cases of Utilizing National Qualifications Contest’ and received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award, stated that she wants to show that even with a disability, if you do not give up and challenge yourself, you can achieve your dreams.
Jeong is currently working full-time at a disability independent living center in Incheon.
The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry revealed on the 24th the cases of 13 individuals, including Jeong, selected in the Excellent Cases of Utilizing National Qualifications Contest.
A total of 285 cases were submitted for this year’s excellent case contest, with 3 grand prizes, 3 excellence awards, 1 excellence award in the military category, and 6 encouragement awards selected.
