Maeil Ilbo = Kwon Han-Il Reporter | While it has been pointed out that there are virtually no nationwide countermeasures compared to the increase in the number of borderline intelligent people, developed countries abroad are actively supporting social security services by enacting relevant laws.
According to the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities Global Disability Trends on the 30th, the term ‘learning disability’ is used instead of ‘borderline intelligent person’ in Germany. Students with learning disabilities have relatively higher cognitive and social abilities than students with intellectual disabilities, but they are often not able to find employment in the general labor market, so a special support system is applied.
