[By Yongwoo Kim, The Daily Korea] ‘2024 Career Day with Global Companies’ was held on the 24th at Kwakjeonghwan Hall, Baekyangnuri, Yonsei University’s Sinchon Campus, for young people with disabilities who are preparing to work for global companies.

  The event was sponsored by Pfizer Korea as part of the ‘HAPPY TOGETHER’ project, a project of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM)’s ‘Future Companions Foundation’ to support employment for people with disabilities, and was organized by Persol Kelley Korea in collaboration with the Working Group on Supporting University Students with Disabilities in the Seoul-Gangwon Region.

  In addition to corporate HR officials, more than 30 people attended the event, including IT development professionals, employment counseling experts, current employees with disabilities, and young people with disabilities preparing for employment in global companies.

  Global leaders in their respective industries, such as Pfizer Korea, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and PersollKelly Korea, participated in the event to showcase their Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)-focused organizational cultures and diverse career opportunities.
