Production of Basic Statistical Data to Assess Scale and Management Status of Disabled-Owned Businesses

Maeililbo = Reporter Kim Hye-na | The Comprehensive Support Center for Disabled-Owned Businesses announced on the 28th that it will conduct the ‘2024 Survey on the Status of Disabled-Owned Businesses’ starting next month.

Now in its 11th year, the survey aims to understand the management status of disabled-owned businesses, collect foundational data necessary for policy formulation, and establish a support system tailored to the characteristics of these businesses.

The survey will be conducted by the specialized research firm Metrix. Surveyors will visit 5,000 sampled disabled-owned businesses to investigate 95 questions across 7 categories: △General Business Status △Startup Status △Financial Status △Public Institution Supply Status △Corporate Policy Status.

This survey strictly guarantees the confidentiality of respondents and their responses under Article 33 of the Statistics Act. All collected data will be used solely for statistical compilation purposes.

The survey results are scheduled for release in April next year and will be available on the website of the Comprehensive Support Center for Disabled-Owned Businesses, the KOSIS National Statistics Portal, and the National Archives Portal.
