【Able News reporter Kwon Jung-hoon】 The Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled (Chairman Lee Jong-sung, hereafter referred to as the Agency) and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (Director Lee Sang-jung, hereafter referred to as the Agency) signed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding for the Promotion of Employment of People with Disabilities’ on the 29th at the Agency.
This agreement aims to create sustainable job opportunities for the disabled in areas such as privacy protection and digital sectors by discovering and designing jobs suitable for the capabilities of the disabled.
The two agencies plan to actively cooperate in expanding employment for the disabled through the discovery of suitable jobs and recruitment initiatives, with the Agency planning to hire 7 disabled individuals for new positions in August.
Head of Management Planning at the Agency, Shin Dae-gyu, stated, “The Korea Internet & Security Agency will actively practice ESG management by collaborating on the development of suitable jobs for the disabled and creating jobs following the new positions in August.”
