The rate of compliance with the obligation to hire disabled individuals has decreased from 51.2% in 2010 to 43.1% in 2023. 6 out of 10 have paid the burden fee instead of hiring, which has greatly increased the scale of the employment burden fee. According to the latest data obtained by SBS, it reached 895.3 billion won last year, more than doubling in 9 years.
