The Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled developed three types of ‘easy-to-understand materials’ for individuals with developmental disabilities and others.

  On the 3rd, the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled’s Employment Development Institute announced that it has developed three types of ‘easy-to-understand materials’ to enhance access to information regarding various policy information that affects the rights and duties of individuals with developmental disabilities, and to support their social participation and stable workplace maintenance.

  The easy-to-understand materials developed in 2024 include “Workplace Manners and Customer Service,” “Cybercrime Prevention Guide,” and “Prevention of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.”

  Director Jo Yun-kyung of the Employment Development Institute expressed her aspiration, stating, “Through the three types of easy-to-understand materials developed in 2024, I hope that individuals with developmental disabilities will be guaranteed their legitimate rights and that it will aid in their social participation and stable work life. This year, we will continue to expand the area of easy-to-understand content to promote the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities.”
