‘Seed Alliance’ Meeting to Foster Talent in IT for Youth with Disabilities

Seoul and Gyeonggi branches of the Korea Employment Service for Persons with Disabilities hold a meeting with participating companies

  The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Disability Employment Agency and the Gyeonggi East Branch (hereinafter referred to as the Agency) jointly held the ‘2024 Seed (SIAT) Alliance Participant Meeting’ with SK C&C on the 16th at the Korea Disability Employment Agency’s Seoul Customized Training Center.

  The Seed Program is a program to foster IT professionals for young people with disabilities, and has been operated by SK and the Corporation since 2017 to help young people with disabilities find employment and become independent.

  From 2017 to last year, the Seed Program has fostered 243 young people with disabilities in the IT field, 222 of whom have succeeded in finding employment and are working in various industries. This year, 40 trainees will be trained in full-tech development, manufacturing testing, and management support roles from June to August.
