Korea Employment Service for Persons with Disabilities to consult with 300 large companies to “expand jobs for people with disabilities”

[Herald Economic] The Korea Employment Service for Persons with Disabilities announced on the 18th that it plans to expand employment consulting for large companies to create sustainable jobs for people with disabilities.

  Starting with a pilot project in 2022, last year, the Korea Employment Service established a specialized team for large companies and provided customized consulting to 52 large companies with relatively high capacity to hire people with disabilities. As a result, a total of 388 new jobs for people with disabilities were created, and the average employment rate for people with disabilities more than doubled from the previous year.

  This year, the Employment Consulting Program will be expanded to 300 companies to help large companies fulfill their obligation to hire people with disabilities through multifaceted consulting.

  To meet the diverse needs of 300 large companies, the corporation plans to provide specialized consulting services such as basic and in-depth consulting services in accordance with corporate conditions through a systematic process based on the slogan ‘from diagnosis to goal achievement’.
